Joey Barton has been sentenced by a judge for sending "grossly offensive" posts on X in 2014 related to TV football pundits Eni Aluko and Lucy Ward, and broadcaster Jeremy Vine. The former footballer has been sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court to six months in custody, suspended for 18 months, for sending the six social media posts.
