Everyone can be a little guilty of not replenishing one's underwear drawer every now and then. For some, it might come down to the investment seeming a bit daunting. Thankfully, Amazon has just slashed almost 40 percent off the iconic Calvin Klein underwear trunks in a limited-time sale.

The three-pack of the classic-look underwear was previously priced at £44 each. Now, with a staggering 39 percent discount, the pack comes in at just £27 for the lot. That makes each pair of boxers just £9 each.

Premium-style underwear can be bought from almost anywhere on the high street. Next, in particular, has a great selection of boxers for around £30, for example.They come in an array of colours from bold and bright to a more classic black.

But the Calvin Klein three-pack on Amazon has accumulated more than 64,000 reviews - most of them positive. They are made out of 95 per cent cotton, 5 per cent elastane, ensuring they fit snugly - no matter the wearer's body shape.

And the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. One wrote: "Comfortable, classic CK boxers. Good quality fabric that fits well to the body."

Shopper Rosco said: "I’ve spent way too much money trying to find underwear that doesn't feel like a torture device by 3PM. I finally grabbed this CK 3-pack and honestly, I get the hype now."

A third wrote: "Searched for years for a comfy fitting pair of elasticated trunks and these are up there with the best."

There have been some criticisms of the quality control, though. One shopper wrote: "One minor gripe: The tags are a bit long. I ended up carefully cutting them out because they were a little scratchy at first, but once they were gone, it was smooth sailing."

Another said: "Comfortable but just over a year in, I am having to throw away my 2nd pair due to tears all over!! This is poor in comparison to other underwear I own that is much cheaper and older."

However, a five-star review noted: "I can't remember the last time I wore any other brand or style. I wore any other brand or style.

"These are breathable and have perfect seam quality, which makes these boxes last a long time. Had good elasticity and doesn't ride up so keeps a lower leg length. These are machine washable and able to dry in the tumble dryer."

For a more direct purchase option, the official Calvin Klein website also sells three-packs of underwear and boxers. These are priced at around £44.
