Admiral’s 1982 World Cup shirt for England has long been considered a fan favourite and recently sold for £308. Meanwhile, Scotland's most valuable shirt, worn by Scottish legends like Ally McCoist, Roy Aitken, and Stuart McCall at the 1990 World Cup, is the Umbro Home shirt, recently selling for nearly £155. If you have football shirts from other countries, then you might be able to get some even bigger bucks for them.
The most valuable vintage football shirt, according to this recent study, is the Adidas Colombia World Cup shirt from 1990, marking the country’s iconic return to the tournament following a 28-year hiatus. The shirt features the number 10 of Carlos Valderrama, who is widely considered Colombia's greatest footballer.
Adding to its value is the ‘Made in Yugoslavia' tag, and it has a price tag of around £637. In second place is the Netherlands UEFA Euro 1988 home shirt, which became popular after the country won its only major international trophy.
It recently sold for £400, and has been worn by Dutch greats such as Ruud Gullit and Marco van Basten.
