Clarkson’s Farm Season 6 is officially going ahead after fans were initially left uncertain about the show’s future. The most recent outing of the Prime Video series ended on a downbeat note as Jeremy Clarkson confirmed he had been diagnosed with cancer and needed treatment, and Diddly Squat Farm was subject to a lockdown due to a TB outbreak.
The former Top Gear host confirmed news of Season 6 on Instagram in a touching post. In the video, Jeremy stepped out in front of a tractor and said: "So, bit of a year. But, I am delighted to tell you that Season 6 of Clarkson's Farm is currently being filmed. It's in production.”
He continued: "And that's particularly good news for me because... well, if you know, you know.” Jeremy added: "And, if you don't know, you need to watch Season 5." Jeremy also recently confirmed that he was now in remission after revealing on Clarkson’s Farm Season 5 that he was suffering from an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer, but that it has been caught early.
Filming Clarkson’s Farm Season 6 is now very much underway, but there’s no release date as yet. Nonetheless, given that seasons of Clarkson’s Farm are filmed over the course of a year and then generally come out the following one, it’s expected Season 6 will premiere at some point in 2027.
Like the previous series, it’s highly likely the forthcoming outing will consist of eight episodes, which will be dropped by the streaming platform in a series of batches. Season 6 is could look further at the TB outbreak, which hit Jeremy hard after one of his pregnant cows was put down after an inconclusive test, only for the postmortem to reveal the creature didn’t have the disease and was needlessly slaughtered.
New episodes are also likely to feature more agricultural innovations as Jeremy brought new farming technology to Diddly Squat. Once again, audiences will be reunited with the rest of the team, including Jeremy’s partner Lisa Hogan, farmhand Kaleb Cooper, land agent Charlie Ireland, dry stone wall specialist Gerald Cooper and even ‘bird lady’ Hannah Bourne-Taylor, who made a memorable appearance in the new series.
