A collision on the M4 has resulted in a closure near Heathrow Airport in the early hours, causing disruption for passengers catching flights.

The M4 in Greater London westbound carriageway is shut between J4 Uxbridge and J4B Heathrow Airport.

All emergency services are attending the scene with diversion routes in operation - traffic cameras show tailbacks forming on the carriageway.
