The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for thunderstorms in six areas of the UK on Tuesday. The weather agency stated that "slow-moving thunderstorms" will be present this afternoon, warning Brits that the weather conditions "may cause travel disruption".
The warning issued is in place from 12pm this afternoon until 6pm, with Northern Ireland mainly impacted by intense weather. UK households in affected areas should be warned that flooding is possible due to the weather conditions and may need to prepare a flood plan and an emergency flood kit.
